Wheatgerm Azuki Bean Porridge

Ingredients:
8 cups water
½ cup red bean sprouts
1 cup wheatgerm
1 small piece dried orange peel
¼ cup oatmeal

Preparation
Soak oatmeal in ½ cup water, added to dish last)

Method:

Bring all ingredients (except oatmeal) to a boil in a pot. Simmer for another 1 hour in low heat till beans open up. Add oatmeal and cook for another ½ hour till porridge is formed. Serve it plain, or adjust taste to salty (with sea salt) or sweet (with sugar).

麦芽红豆粥

材料:
水     八杯
红豆芽   半杯
小麦芽   一杯
陈皮      一小块
麦片     四分之一杯(泡水半杯,最后下)

作法:

将以上的材料(麦片除外)放入锅一起煮滚,改慢火继续滚一小时至豆开过。加入麦片煮半小时成粥。可食原味,亦可适量加糖成甜味或加盐成咸味。
